Historic Restoration 

We bring the life back to damaged and degraded historic architectural elements. We recreate missing elements, and restore and refinish pieces. We have worked on a wide range of projects including entryways, windows, staircases, porch parts, and more.

We restored over 300 window sash frames and doors for the Vanderbilt Mansion and visitor center in Hyde Park, NY.

Extensive restoration of badly burned pews, doors and windows for the Universal Preservation Hall (UPH) in Saratoga Springs, NY.

This work won the Excellence in Historic Preservation Award from the Preservation League of NYS in 2021.

We restored over 500 windows and doors for Yaddo Mansion in Saratoga Springs, NY.

This work won the Excellence in Historic Preservation Award from the Preservation League of NYS in 2020.

Complete restoration of a Victorian Era pool table in Slingerlands, NY.

Restoration of the Pittsfield Courthouse. We relocated a rectangular set of doors in the building to replace an aluminum set of storefront doors.  This required the dismantling of the rectangular doors and modifications to accommodate the curved corbels.

Not only did we re-configure the doors in the photo, we also made new doors to be hung where the doors we reconfigured had been previously located, and provided millwork for the vestibule located between the two sets of doors.
